Richard has a proven background in strategic planning, operational analysis, and workforce development. As a Marine, he collaboratively led thousands of people in supply chain management of a $10 billion dollar inventory supporting all Navy and Marine aircraft throughout the Naval Aviation Enterprise. He also transformed Marine Corps Recruiting Station Cincinnati, OH ranked last nationally for 36 months, into an award-winning team recognized by the Commandant of the Marine Corps for recruiting excellence, for two consecutive years.
Richard has served as a managerial consultant in various industries since 2013. He applies 30 years of managerial-leadership experience in performance management and process improvement centered upon policy analysis / development to mitigate cost, risk, and efficiently manage schedules, scope, resources, and quality. He specializes in creating cultures of organizational excellence that empower teams to excel through an ethos of: 1) noble intent, 2) honorable aspiration, 3) correctly aligned behavior and 4) selfless mentorship.
Richard earned a BA from Ohio Wesleyan University (Economic Management and Pre-Law) and graduated Magna Cum Laude from the Marine Corps University with an MS in Military Studies (awarded for his published thesis, Recruiting the Strategic Corporal). He earned an Executive MPA from the Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs, which he now applies in serving the local community, through local government.
