VETERANS ART EXHIBIT
● Peter Lanham at Battle Buddies shared about the San Dieguito Art Guild’s 5th
Annual Veterans Exhibition. The show runs from September 1 – September 24,
2023. The veteran’s exhibition and awards ceremony will be on September 9th from
5:30 – 8:30 PM. Veteran applications are open on June 1 and closed on August 1 for

TRAUMATIC BRAIN INJURY CENTER OF EXCELLENCE
● Randi Sedigh, LCSW, CBIS at the Traumatic Brain Injury Center of Excellence
shared about how TBICoE promotes state-of-the-science traumatic brain injury (TBI)
care from point-of-injury to reintegration for active duty service members, veterans,
and their families to prevent and mitigate consequences of mild to severe TBI. For
more information, please reach out to Randi!

COMMUNITY-BASED INTERVENTIONS FOR SUICIDE PREVENTION
● Andrew Hall, MSW, who is the Community Engagement & Partnerships Coordinator
for San Diego at the Veterans Administration shared about Community-Based
Interventions for Suicide Prevention and the trainings available to all. Andrew is
able to provide free suicide prevention and intervention training upon request. Please
take time to learn how to talk about suicide.
